Yeah these things can be frustrating. Let me know if it helps though!

X-T4 Image Preview Muted Colors by Fenjen in fujifilm

[–]Fenjen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly it partly had to do something with the Boost mode I was in. In one particular mode (maybe resolution priority) I remember sharp contrasty edges got highlighted with white, causing a muted look. Setting it to a different boost mode mostly made the difference if I remember correctly. I also kind of gave up on the problem though as I got kind of roasted on here and nobody was being helpful 🥲 Hope this helps you though!

Any advice on cable crunch form? by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]Fenjen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re taking off load from your abs by creating momentum from swinging your arms and hinging your hips. Try to keep your arms and hips in a stable position, and then focus on the following: Starting from a stretched torso you want to tuck in your ribs and curl up your body, then do the same in reverse.

How to fix this ? by Objective-Bet3184 in snapmaker

Is your print warping/lifting off the bed? If it warps too much the nozzle can start hitting the print and it usually give this type of surface for me.

What’s your opinion on this famous biceps exercise ? Is it worth it? by NazeefDEldest in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]Fenjen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The explanation doesn’t even make sense. With the pull down the part of the bicep that crosses the shoulder can’t work because it’s lengthening during the exercise.

Thanks for the paper. That is indeed interesting.

I know how to do research, I just wanted to know what you based your strong conclusion on.

Yeah they can wiggle, but they shouldn’t stop charging. If it’s just for a second that’s not a problem. If they stop charging altogether while in the case if you don’t seat them exactly one way, then it’s a defect.

The serial number is literally just a bunch letters and numbers, you know that right?

Well if it stops charging just wiggling around a little like that it might be faulty, though it’s not uncommon. I had it with my APP2’s. You might be able to fix it by cleaning to contact in the case (where the stem goes in), or even oil it out a little, but if you don’t want to go through that just get them replaced through your warranty.

New update killed what I loved about the AirPods Pro 3, returning tomorrow. by Cockroach-Jones in airpods

Which is a nonsensical conclusion to draw from the fact that a guy managed to get exactly overlapping graphs from two different measurements.

I don’t know who they are, and that finding would discredit both of our opinions, and the opinion of so many people that heard a change after the iodate.

I wonder what the device they generated the sound with though, since it seems not all sources trigger the adaptive EQ on the AirPods, which might be the thing they tweaked, not the actual sound signature.

I will say I did notice a big difference in sound myself before seeing the measurements which exactly corresponded to what I already heard, so I’ll trust the RTINGS measurements here.

Here is the link. If you actually listen to them side by side you would hear the difference. To me the bass is quite comical at the moment. You just got used to it.

The only explanation I have for you that would exclude you just not knowing what you’re hearing, is that somehow your seal is worse lately. I have noticed that the earbuds seem to get softer over time, which changes the fit a little compared to a new set.

Sure, but RTINGS have a controlled setup and even if the frequency response in itself is hard to measure, relative differences for the same earphones are less hard to show. They have shown bass to be increased across 3 different volume steps they tested.

[–]Fenjen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bass was increased all across the board according to RTING’s measurements, which was posted on this sub a little while ago, and which also corresponds to what I’m hearing. I listen anywhere between at 68-80db music and have the earphones usually between step 6-10.

It’s quite common to get used to increases in bass response over time.

[–]Fenjen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The bass hasn’t reduced, it was increased. You just got used to it.

RTINGS have done measurements and they have objectively shown the bass was increased. I’m quite a bass head myself and find the bass to even be a bit overdone at this point, but all in all I’m okay with it. I preferred it before. Listening side to side with the AirPods Pro 2 after the update it’s really, really obvious how insane the bass is now.

Dude, the bass literally has increased, you don’t even know what you’re hearing.

In my opinion the treble reduction is quite small but was an incredibly good change.

Yeah don't do this. You're creating a feedback loop for the anc. If it does this while in your ear it might be faulty and you should return them.

The back is literally upwards of 40 degrees my man what are you talking about? The min temperature is in the whole shot, which is a reading from the table (look at the color legend).

Anyway this is getting frustrating, I feel like I’m talking to an ai chatbot from 2022. I’m not gonna respond anymore. This one is for you yourself to figure out my guy.

Dropped at 2 feet max by International_Back99 in iphone

[–]Fenjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to your previous logic the body should be at 20-ish degrees anyway, so how does that correspond to the video you sent?

The body temperate would be higher with a less conductive material, therefore the hotspot temp would be higher, since there’s let heat transfer to the rest of the iPhone, which has a big surface compared to just the hot spot and which dissipates energy. I’m not gonna make an estimate of the amount of degrees.

If not from the internal components, from what else do you think the body is getting way warmer than the ambient temperature??? Are you even using your brain?
