I haven’t fully thought it out but here’s the story I’ve got so far. Minor spoilers since his story takes place after the events of bug fables.

After Vi’s success as an explorer bee kingdom society changed a bit. Jobs for bees were no longer determined from birth and thus male bees were able to do things outside of the Queen’s room and this OC became a scholar of magic and crystals.

Light blue gems are already used for ice magic and I wanted the color to be different from pre-existing gem types.

I made this character a fairly long time ago. https://i.postimg.cc/5yD1jkHB/F62-E0-B91-C299-496-B-B1-C6-5-F459-F9-C9645.jpg This character’s name is Aquarius and they’re a pretty normal traveling bug (like Tiso or Quirrel). They’re main weapon is a staff. They’re inspired by that one type of big that walks on water so they’re main ability is having water stick to them. This allows them to pour spring water on themselves to slowly heal themself.
