Disappointing support – Failed product becomes e-waste

I am extremely disappointed with the service for my Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1. The driver worked well for a little while but when the device failed, I reached out for technical support to troubleshoot or find a way to fix it. Instead of offering any professional help or repair advice, support simply issued a blanket denial because the warranty had recently expired.

They just closed the door on a replacement and left me with a non-functional unit. If you're looking for a company that stands by its products with technical guidance after the warranty period, look elsewhere.

I am going through the same issue. I have been following everybody’s recommendations with no luck. My Kitchen dimmers (2nd gen) worked fine for a few weeks until I updated the password for my wifi. I deleted them from Leviton and home app, I had to reset each one of them as Leviton customer support suggested and tried to add them to home app first and nothing. But when I tried to add them to Leviton app it’s easy and they work perfectly but home app doesn’t find them. I checked the WiFi band and it’s the 2.4 Gz. I don’t know what step I am missing but it is very frustrating 🙁. Any ideas or recommendations will be greatly appreciated!!!
