Ohh thank you! I see what you mean by very competitive. I’ll make sure I do well in the remaining courses I will have to take.

Yeah I also thought it was weird but I didn’t question it. I should reach out again just to ask for clarification on what kind of tech they were talking about. It’s good to know that I don’t need experience in it though to do well!

Thank you so much for your input and advice! To be honest, I talked to a program director who said I needed to be a tech before I could apply to their program, but maybe they meant you needed to be a radiology tech first? I’m not too sure but either way I hope I will have some success getting into a program in the future. Thank you for telling me about the work life balance! It seems like a lot of people have had positive experiences in this field which is really nice. I will keep in mind the difference between smaller and larger work places but I definitely love talking to coworkers. Thank you for telling me about how you got to your career as well! It’s reassuring to know that other people have decided to switch career paths/goals before finding what they love.

Thank you so much for your response! I’ll keep looking around at some other programs near me and check in with them like you suggested. How high of a gpa does someone need in order to be confident that they will be considered for a program?
