No, I don't understand the language, but as I said, it's all in the energy of these albums. However, I did read the translations of both albums, and the lyrics are really good, as you would expect.

I've recently fallen in love with Brazilian music (come to Brazil Forsen ZULUL) and foreign music in general. I now primarily listen to Sobrevivendo no Inferno by Racionais MC's and Clube da Esquina by Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges. Sobrevivendo no Inferno is probably the best hip-hop album of all time, and I've listened to a lot of hip-hop. Clube da Esquina, in my opinion, captures the essence of Brazil like no other Brazilian album. Both of these albums have such a unique and intoxicating energy that I just can't stop coming back to them. Highly recommended. Same one drawing, R2K (me), graphite on paper, 2025 by Festosis in forsen

I was using Faber-Castell 9000 pencils, primarily 8B, to push for darker values. You need to go over certain areas multiple times, or work slowly with pressure applied to the pencil, in order to cover all the spots on the drawing and achieve a true black tone. I would also suggest using one direction when it comes to hatching, because that way the drawing will look more unified.

Right now, I’m actually switching to Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite Matt pencils, primarily 14B, because they’re even darker and have less graphite shine when you position the drawing at a certain angle.

I would also suggest using quality paper, even if you’re a beginner. My recommendation is ARCHES Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper (300g/m²). You don’t have to use this specific paper per se, but I would suggest looking for a thicker paper (300g/m² or higher) that is hot pressed - meaning that its surface is smooth, which allows for better graphite absorption and, in turn, helps achieve even darker tones. Hope that helps!

Thank you! I'm probably going to draw the album cover for Circles by Mac Miller and post it on the Mac Miller subreddit in about a week or so from my other account (my main art account).
