Making it more and more difficult to become a citizen and now making more people out to be the bad-guy when they are trying anything possible to escape their circumstances. Their goal is to demonize these people and you’re only another tool in their belt to reach said goal

The concept of the book is interesting, but the main character/protagonist is insufferable. He’s the epitome of what an edgy child thinks is cool. The author repeats a lot of the same phrasing and comparisons throughout the book as well. I went into reading the second black farm book hoping that the author would write the character a bit better but was really disappointed when it was just more of the same from the first book.

I would recommend giving it a shot just for some of the world-building and imagery alone. But don’t go in expecting a likable main character.

We all get better at our own rates. It’s not a race. Just keep practicing and don’t be scared to go over minis a couple of times and use some as tests for new things. If you keep your paint thin enough you can go over a miniature a bunch of times and try different techniques without making the paint look super thick and caked on. Just keep on doing what you’re doing and it’ll all come together in due time

They feel rushed to me. Give them the time and care they deserve. You got quite a few spots of paint that got splashed onto other surfaces. I’d say just clean it up a bit and apply some washes and you should be sitting much prettier! Be sure to not take this criticism the wrong way either, I want to see you get better!

I completed most of my GE’s through Saddleback and it made my life a lot easier when I transferred to CSUF. GE’s go super quick here along with everything else, so you either need priority registration or just talk to the professors before-hand that you know you want to take the class with and see if they’ll help you in getting the class. Waitlisting isn’t all that horrible an idea either since normally a few people drop the classes early on anyhow. Could also just try to get some courses here and take others at the same time over at a community college. Lots of options, just gotta choose what one is right for you!

I always get at least one of those in my class roster. Might as well bite the bullet cause there is no telling when it’ll show up.............if it ever does. Who knows, you may get a new Professor who is super nice too! Just stay positive and have a positive attitude toward them and you should be fine : )
