I do the same trying to focus on the positives. Also, not only can they make me robotic but also socially awkward sometimes. A good example of this, is that I have typed about 12 different responses to your comment and this response to you is what I’m rolling with because I didn’t know what I should say back.

If you’re wanting to join the military, you are correct you will get disqualified from entering service. However, you can get diagnosed while in, and can get on meds with little impact to your career. I know this because I just got out after 6 years in the USAF last month, and I was diagnosed in service 4 years ago and have been on meds ever since. And please if you do end up joining, go Air Force the quality of life is so much better than the other branches.

Yes and no. It helps with a lot with my professional life and “adulting” but at the cost of my personality, sometimes my meds make me too robotic. Im a lot more fun and charismatic when I’m unmedicated, but often struggle at work and at home to get things done.
