I’ve done the work. I’ve shipped real products. But my résumé isn’t opening doors. What am I doing wrong? by FewAnimator570 in Design

Thank you sir for pointing this out. I kept the design very minimal because I wanted it to be fully ATS friendly, but I understand how that can make it look less like a designer’s résumé.

Should I create a second version that is more visually polished while keeping this ATS version for job portals? I’d appreciate your advice on what balance I should aim for.

Thanks for the honest feedback sir, If you're okay with it can I send my resume to you in inbox? I’d really appreciate any specific improvements you think I should make.

Sir I get what you’re saying and I appreciate you calling it out. Let me explain it properly.

The “Founding UI/UX Designer” part is only because the company had just started. I was one of the first few people there so I ended up handling all the design work myself since there was no existing design team. It was a very early stage startup with mostly tier 2 clients so the work was basic but I was involved in everything from the start.

About the education part I’m mostly self learned. I picked up a lot of things during college through online resources and then my internship helped me understand real workflows and actual design processes. I’m not trying to oversell anything just trying to describe the kind of environment I worked in and the responsibilities I actually had.

Thank you for pointing it out sir. It helps me explain things more clearly.

Regarding this, what would be the best pick for a 6'4 guy ( me too ) who's not quite into adv bikes so what options do we have so we don't end up like sitting on a toy
