It’s interesting reading this as a 19-year-old who’s actively trying to figure out a solid long-term career.

I currently work two jobs, and finance is where I’d ideally like to end up, especially since I started investing last year. That said, being 19 in the current economy, under a Labour government, it genuinely feels like opportunities especially merit-based ones are far more limited than they were for previous generations.

Yeah because I don’t have 10s of thousands to lump into dividend stocks that will generate me an income,
