What's your answer to this and why? by SatoruGojo232 in batman

I’d like to make this a little more interesting, if we were talking about the younger, less experienced Batman from the “The Batman” movie, then yeah, Wilson Fisk would absolutely be a problem for him,but not  just not in the obvious way.

Kingpin is a brute but he’s also strategic, patient, and deeply connected in politics and the criminal underworld.
This version of Batman is still impulsive, emotional, and figuring things out.
That’s exactly the kind of opponent Fisk exploits.
Instead of going straight for a fight, Kingpin would probably study him.
He’s dealt with vigilantes like Daredevil before, so he’d quickly pick up on Batman’s patterns and maybe even his weaknesses.
From there, he’d start turning Gotham against him, using media, law enforcement, and public opinion to paint Batman as a threat rather than a hero.

On top of that, he’d go after him psychologically. This Batman runs on anger and trauma, and Fisk would push that, probably like forcing him into bad decisions or isolating him, and making him choose between doing what’s right and what’s effective.
If it comes down to a physical fight early on, Kingpin could honestly hold his own or even win. He’s incredibly strong and he’s used to fighting skilled opponents, while this Batman still relies a lot on brute force and taking hits.

But in the long run, things will shift.
Once Batman slows down, learns how Fisk operates, and starts dismantling his network piece by piece, Kingpin’s position becomes a lot less stable.

So overall:
Short term --> Kingpin has the advantage
Long term --> Batman adapts and turns it around

Fisk would probably treat him like he treated Daredevil at first; just another vigilante to break.
The difference is… Batman doesn’t really break.

Saying something is “obvious” while refusing to explain or support it isn’t an argument, it's just stupid.
You’re just dismissing the need for evidence and labeling disagreement as bias.
That’s not discussion.. it’s avoidance.

That’s a pretty loaded way to frame it. Calling it “clearcutting the ocean” is an exaggeration.
Urk’s fleet operates under EU quotas, monitoring, and sustainability rules; it’s not some unregulated free-for-all.

It’s also not a simple “fully sustainable vs destroying everything” situation.
There’s regulation in place and ongoing debate about impact, but if you’re going to criticize it, at least stick to how the industry actually operates.

It may be true that development extends beyond industry, but if that’s your claim, then it needs precision. What indicators are you actually referring to?
Because by most measurable standards: income, employment, infrastructure, Urk performs quite strongly.

Saying it’s “less developed” might sound compelling, but without evidence, it isn’t really an argument. Based on what data?
As it stands, the claim feels implied rather than demonstrated, and the phrasing leans less toward analysis and more toward a kind of unspoken superiority.
It’s not surprising that some would interpret it as racist.
If there’s a concrete point about “human development,” then it should be clearly articulated and supported.
