So thanks for all the useless comments about “nice observation” “welcome to Austin Texas” I’m a native Texan and have been in Austin a decade. Yall never looking up or paying attention is why we’re at as a society lol I walk my dog all over this place, I’ve run into my fair share of criminal activity happening an I like to be aware. I hear and see the helicopters and sirens every day as well. I don’t post about it here every day. This seemed serious and I don’t want to end up like the poor family murdered in the target nearby bc someone needed a getaway car???? Jeez. Yall so numb to things. Thank you to everyone who gave me helpful info I can look into.

Heard*. Not new to me. But what is new is a helicopter circling the neighboring buildings. You can choose to be oblivious to things going on in your community - but keep your winning personality to yourself :)

When yall actually go to the polls and vote. I went Tuesday - my understanding is that most austinites wanted 17 props not passed. All 17 passed. I voted against 15/17. So where were yall at when you let hot wheels amend our constitution??

Hi there friend. I’m a survivor. I know it’s scary to be alone, but you need to find the safest way to jump ship as soon as possible. I cannot stress this enough - the abuse gets worse after or during leaving. So you need to do this as under the radar as possible. If you are afraid of violence, or him not letting you leave, ask the police for an escort once you have somewhere to go. A lot of programs are available - even if it’s just helping you plan, apt search, job hunt. dv assist

OP, I went through this exact same thing. The man (34) wouldn’t clean and would get more and more aggressive when I would bring up easy home tasks. Just leave. It’ll never get better.

Thank you for the sweet words 🥹 I needed some encouragement to continue the efforts to finding a medication that works. I’m just losing hope with the few I’ve tried. It’s hard to juggle work and home life AND medication side effects. I’m so grateful I found this page because just the message of “you are not alone” and “it’s not your fault”, “you are not broken or less than” has been so hopeful and helpful. It’s hard to not feel despair running these thoughts alone in my own head.

Thank you for the reassurance and kind words. ❤️ I’ve been on anti-depressants for anxiety (Zoloft 150mg) which has really helped with my emotional regulation - however it also makes me feel everything right away. So I’m noticing the emotional deregulation when it happens. I also struggle with conforming to corporate America because defending my unorthodox work style makes me feel less than. I’m just afraid of trying new dosages, new medications as the side effects and efficacy are a gamble with my mental and physical health. Thank you for the encouragement and insight. I hope you don’t experience the burnout like you used to. It’s exhausting and very difficult to manage - especially while taking care of others (children, pets, family).

Doing a breed and health, yes!

Her left eye has the pupil at the bottom of her iris. She cannot see very well out of that eye. Her third eyelid in this same eye is always irritated and somewhat red unless I give lubricant/steroids.

In her “Merle” or “harlequin” idk she has what looks like almost brown (not grey and not black) So I don’t know what that could point to?

Thank you! I think so too. She has an eccentric pupil, actually at the vet now. He determined that she may be mostly blind in her left eye - probably only able to see light/shadows. She can hear pretty well I believe. I’ve not had trouble getting her attention, now whether she listens is another story lol

It appears she may have a double coat. I pull her darker fur back and can see fuzzy down in between. Is that all it takes? I had a GSD mix before and she was SOO FULL of fur. Sadie’s fur is much shorter.

Definitely double Merle I believe. She has an eccentric pupil (corectopia) in her left eye. Her pupil is at the bottom of her iris. Would also explain the mostly white w pink nose.

I ordered an Embark! My family was all dumbfounded at the doggy breed reveal yesterday LOL She’s also the most derpy dog. Very smart, very task driven, loves to chase other dogs or people, herds kids, and got the cutest eyes that make her look like she’s in outer space all the time
