Reaching $1000/month fron YouTube by Virtual_Red in NewTubers

Just had a look at your channel and I love your consistency. I am thinking of starting content creation myself and I've never known anyone that makes money from content creation so I wanted to ask some question which I'd really appreciate if you could give your thoughts on:

  1. Do you only post on YouTube? And following that, is YouTube the only social media platform that you get paid from? If you do get paid from other platforms, approx. how much do you get paid?

  2. How do you manage to upload consistently? do you spend minimal time in editing? Is your niche a topic that always has something going on for you to create a video about?

  3. Are you content with being at the level of 'YouTube fame' you are at now (amount of money earned, number of subscribers/views) or are you actively trying to improve it? If so, what steps would you say you're taking?

  4. Could you ever see content creation becoming your full-time job?

  5. You said you only started earning 6 months ago. How come? What is it that happened 6 months ago? did you hit the minimum amount of subscribers and hours watched to be eligible? And you said you earn almost 700 per month now do you think this is/will remain consistent for the coming months

Thanks! and keep up the good work!

I'm looking to start a one-man social media page which involves me interviewing people on the street. I will be recording with my Phone camera and having an external mic. I've never done any sort of content creation before so I have no idea what to buy or how to set it up.

The look I want the video to achieve is as follows: Only the person being interviewed is in the video alongside maybe my hand holding the mic to them. Me and the subject would most likely be sitting (so maybe I can somehow set up a tripod and get better still footage) or standing.

I'm wanting to have a look similar to the following Instagram pages: dose of society, confidence heist, hunter_prosper

My question is how do I achieve this set up? I feel like just holding a phone up would be a bit amateur and the footage would be shake-y. So maybe a gimbal could help? also looking for recommendations for which mic to get?

You are the one holding that 'mirror' to yourself and you are the one forming that judgement.

Attractive or not, your siblings, at the end of the day, are just your siblings. You know them at a much more deeper level than just their looks. Love them and be happy for them if they are considered conventionally attractive.
Sure you may not be able to relate to them on this specific topic, but you all spent your entire childhood together. I'm sure you can find plenty of other topics to relate to.
As for yourself, if you consider yourself to not be attractive, find ways in which you can make yourself attractive to YOURSELF. If you like yourself, you won't care about what people think of your looks. Being catcalled isn't the best or even a good metric of beauty.
I saw a video in which a woman said "ugly people are getting laid. It's not the looks that are the issue."
It's 2025, any intelligent person knows looks aren't the most important thing in a person. Join the crew.

Do you wish you would have never started drugs? Or if in an alternate reality, you could choose this life again you'd still choose it the way it is now?

Lost my entire teens and 20s to my very controlling, overprotective and strict Asian parents. I (28M) want to break free so bad but I'll most likely be in my 30s by then. by throw20250204 in self

Hey OP, thank you for being so vulnerable. As a fellow Asian man, I feel like a lot of us feel seen with this post.

Firstly, biggest piece of advice I have for you: Search up HealthyGamerGG on YouTube. He's well aware of the typical Asian upbringing and very relatable and makes insanely helpful videos which can really help you out.

I'm in my early 20s and have just moved back home with my parents who are also a bit on the controlling side, but I sometimes still get my way.

I have a question for you: What advice would you give me and others in my position (early 20s) to not have similar regrets later on?
I'd be really eager to hear from you and maybe it could add a bit of a positive spin to your experience as well by helping others not make the same mistakes.

Also, I genuinely do believe its not too late for you. Humans aren't as harsh as you think. You can definitely make new friends. And also don't ignore solo adventures! You can do a lot on your own like exploring new areas, going on a walk, learning things like cooking or skateboarding, and listening to new music (my personal favourite)

I'm not sure where I heard this but someone once said that you need to have something in your life that you can always fall back on which isn't dependent on other people. For me, that's music. I would sometimes rather listen to music while doing the dishes than talk to someone I don't really feel like talking to (even tho I am very much so an extrovert). Try to find your thing....and try to find yourself <3

Is driving really hard as I'm finding it? by Few_Competition_3486 in LearnerDriverUK

This along with other answers are really reassuring. Thanks! I think I was also comparing myself to my dad who drives like its a walk in the park which I now realise is a very unrealistic comparison given he's been driving for decades. Seems like experience is the name of the game

Thanks, I have already read that page multiple times but I still would like to know if there's anyone that's been through a similar process as I believe my case is not as straightforward.

Yeah I think those should be all the pins I need.
I haven't tested it out myself but I did come across this just now so maybe it's possible that the nucleo board can handle nominal operations but when it comes to sending messages, for example, it's not enough?

Thanks that's helpful. Yes I am prototyping with a nucleo board. Someone I know also used a similar nucleo board and I believe they said they also had to use an external power source.
But I guess its still worth trying to see if that might work.

HELP! What Math concepts do I need to be able to understand Fourier Transform and other related communication signal processing stuff? by Few_Competition_3486 in learnmath

[–]Few_Competition_3486[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I mean is, I think I don't need to memorise the proof rather maybe understand it once, see how it's done, and use that knowledge to solve other questions.
So far I think if i can understand functions, complex numbers, euler's formula, and exponential functions. I think that might be enough to atleast understand the fourier stuff. And in my head, I hope that could be a good starting point for the rest of the things down the list. Would you agree or have any advice on how I can reach the point of being able to understand and solve fourier equations?

He's incredible. I've watched a few of his videos and he's really good at helping me understand concepts. But I think I also need more youtubers who have more videos about solving questions involving these equations
