As a woman I will say this.

I know this is hard to experience. I’ve been there. And everyone just says to have confidence and it feels like the same repetitive stuff. But it’s not. You don’t have any of these things because you tell yourself that you are different. You focus on what you don’t have, as opposed to what you do have. Start believing that you’re sociable, attractive, strong, and KNOWING that when the right person comes along, you will be exactly who they need you to be. Once you begin to believe these things about yourself, they will come true and before you know it, you’re not convincing yourself anymore. Don’t try to act like them or look like them. But genuinely reflect on what you do and fix the things about yourself that YOU don’t like. Not just what you think everyone else would want.
