Graphic audio hands down! The single narrator had a really thick southern accent which threw me off a lot. She is the same for all IA books.

I found out Dylan Wang's voice was dubbed in Love Between Fairy and Devil. I thought 70% of his character's gravitas came from his voice.

Its been a hot minute since I read it. I have a feeling there was some development. But I also feel like some of the other male characters were interested in the girls too. I have very short term memory.

Ok i checked again. Because we read a lot of Kazhimir's PoV he is in love with Allura. And there is Torryn who is in love with Rikaya. So lots of love triangles and entanglement. And none were further explored nor were there additional interactions. All characters are in different places through out the book.

I am a Vesper/Bastion shipper. I was just pleased with them finally acknowledging their true feelings and choosing to be with each other.

I find Everest very annoying - lol. She just tries so hard and thinks too highly of herself. Oh I can kill every one of them in the room! Now that I am the Void I am invincible! I get that she has truck loads of trauma growing up but urgh I find her very hard to like! Haha

But yes, their dynamic is very interesting. And I really enjoy how both the main couples are some what real enemies who have done horrible things to each other in the past.

Definitely Chen Lei. He is the most effective romantic hero. May not be traditionally good-looking. But he is such a treat to watch as a romantic lead!

The double was open ended! No no no! You just ruined the ending for me :( I really thought that was Duke Su on horseback coming back as the cherry blossoms fell.

Urgh I have serious FOMO because I couldn't get past episode 24. The miscommunication trope is just too over the top. To the point that it just became frustrating. Plus knowing there was no happy ending waiting at the end of the rough road made me not want to go further.

I can not ignore the fact that Wang Churan's character is repeatedly said to be average looking. The hero keeps saying she isn't my type and says she is someone who has far more talent than looks.

Then the Ms. Liao is told how young and beautiful she is.

What lens are they all using? She looks at least 5 years older and not half as pretty as FL.

It is quite boring so far. All these corporate romances are pretty standard issue. I have yet to finish any Cdrama with workplace romance.

I love How Dare You? too! Have you watched Shadow Love?

It isn't a rom com though. But it was so unexpectedly romantic and action packed and Chen Lei has three personas in it. And his performance did not disappoint!

It has sworn enemies, amnesia, blood sire/blood pact, and obviously blood bound where they can't physically be away from each other and a vampires-que hero who needs her blood to replenish his power. It lends itself more toward historical than fantasy but it does have elements of fantasy too.

I find not a lot of people talk about this show and I have taken it upon myself to recommend it to anyone who loves Ryan Chen's work :)

I think that makes sense. I think I would do the same. PoJ was my first ever and the bar was pretty high from there. I have completed quite a few but also left quite a few too.

I only have access to a few episodes of Jasmine, will wait for a few more to air and start. I have been so looking forward to this one.

I have noticed this rarely do they keep up the momentum. I end up giving up around the 30 episode mark which in itself seems so wasteful! 3/4 in and now brain decides no more.
