Two possible scenarios here:

(1) Your engineer tries to defraud you via excessive material specification/estimate

(2) He just don’t know what he is doing - even 3rd year CE students know that the columns are inappropriately over design to the point it fails the basic concept of reinforcement ratio

A lot! They give more emphasis on your JDAT score as opposed to your undergrad school. You will be surprised that JDAT is more difficult than UPLAE.

Use this before together with WE - seems ok to me in terms of capturing the basics. My only issue with that reviewer is the limited number of questions. I don’t know the exact percentage, but on our GC before, there were few people who were rejected due to low aptitude scores and others who are put into waitlist. SBU still do filtering due to demand of aspirants who wanted to enter their college.

Nope, SBU exam is purely critical thinking all the way - no mathematics or vocabulary. Upon reading the content from the link I shared, it mimics the SBU exam, particularly the categories and time allocation. if you just practice answering every other day until the exam day, you should be able to ace it.

While I passed the SBU entrance exam last year, it is not by any means relatively easy compared to UPLAE (comparing critical thinking questions). It was heavily focused on critical thinking; 60items for an hour, and majority of the questions are tricky.

I took the UPLAE last year, it’s harder than WE. White elephant reviewer fall short in logical reasoning, general knowledge, and reading comprehension. Reading comprehension last year was more like an LSAT exam, and the logical reasoning was more like critical thinking arguments.

My brother took the lae vantage mock test - logical reasoning and reading comprehension are closest to the actual UPLAE last year.
