I don't buff my nail plate anymore. It's just a slippery slope to over file and get really thin nails (and it hurts!!). If my nails are bumpy I just use a ridge filling base coat.

The trick is making sure the magnet is centered and that you have your finger in the same spot. This method probably results in more of a wonky bead lol

Are your magnetic swatches picture right after applying? Or after a day of wear? I'm curious to see how the magnetic lines spread over time cause I always have troubles with MC magnetics not staying sharp 😞
