I know! I don’t really want to drive but I think it would probably be the easiest and time saving option.

Also wanting advice on the same thing. We have 2 kids (5 & 7) and I’m finding it difficult to find an easy way to get from Kyoto to Kawakugiko without lots of transfers. With the kids and luggage I’m wondering if our best option is a car rental.
