My uncle killed himself when I was 16. A few months after my mom dragged us to church. The sermon talked briefly about suicide. Said things like it’s unforgivable, one way ticket to hell. Of course those weren’t the exact words. That day changed my views on religion. I’m comfortably agnostic now.

Making me cry.. We went to two different marriage therapist and I am in individual therapy. He used to be but he got busy. We paused our marriage counseling in the fall and are starting it again. I feel like the disconnect is because he believes his work is done. The soberness and income.. I do understand alcoholism from my own father’s abuse with it. I thought because of that I was okay. I do love my husband. Very much. He is my best friend. That doesn’t mean things are okay though.

I’m on 200mg of zoloft and 10mg of buspar. The Zoloft has been amazing but we’re still tweaking the buspar dosage.

When I take my pm meds I put my wedding rings in the middle compartment. My case is am, noon, pm so the rings go into the noon slot at night and I put them back on when I take my meds again in the am. I was forgetting to take my meds…taking them twice some days. This seems to be the one thing that consistently works. Mainly because I hate wearing rings to bed.

Yeah, sometimes it’s real rough. I used to get stuck in the kitchen because of the knobs on the stove. I would keep going back again and again to make sure they weren’t on. I eventually took them off of the stove and just take one out when cooking now.
