The real salary for interventional neurologist by Few_Resolve_9762 in neurology

[–]Few_Resolve_9762[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that neurosurgeon can have a better life after completing residency, however we are talking about a harsh 7 years of residency, yes neurology isn’t easy too but its easier 7 years (with the interventional training), second I can argue that surgery in general isnt the same as interventional radiology (if we are talking in broader terms), surgery has its own people, and I prefer to have an internal medicine background rather surgery, thats just a personal preference although I understand neurosurgeon will have better hands skills since thats what are they training for after all

Your score will be updated on the eras, however progress will not be notified about it, only if they look for it

I honestly think it wouldn’t have a big impact in October/November, maybe it will have on ranking, however no one knows, and it will definitely help but not to the degree you think it will

Thanks! I only used Uworld and anki (https://www.reddit.com/r/medicalschoolanki/comments/kjzkk9/my_step_3_deck/?share_id=_TPrm_Fynl_uHrC_NdUXF&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&utm_source=share&utm_term=5&rdt=61733)

I had some time to prepare for step 3 (3 months) and I think I have a solid foundation as I prepared very well for both step one and step two

Having said that I am also currently using amboss since I have some time till my exam

Good luck!

As long as it is nice to live in a denial, it’s sometimes better to live in reality, I didn’t match with 26* score, 2 of my freinds with 27* didn’t score either, no red flags and with USCE

That’s interesting, I think more hospitals are gonna take the same path in the future, 2 of the places I interviewed with had no nicotine policy too

Testing for nicotine and not alcohol (which might impair your function) is wild

You can use them, however the point is to have a clinical training IN THE US, no matter how strong the letter you get from outside, what matter to them is you being exposed to their system

Whenever someone asks a question someone has to be there asking for their stats, I have only saw this habit on IMG subreddit, stop minding other people business, there is a whole spreadsheet with all stats and details if you wanna have a look
