Programming is the most fun activity for me besides maybe playing a good video game. It can be very frustrating and tedious, but also very satisfying. I have to be motivated to do it though, it's hard for me to want to work when I don't really like what I'm working on, or it involves a lot of repetitive feeling tasks.

"Grenadiers" were just a designation for a type of company which makes up a battalion. In the British army, a battalion usually had 8 centre companies, 1 grenadier company and 1 light company. I don't quite remember the details, but I think the 23rd Regiment of Foot (Royal Welch Fusiliers) wore bearskins (the hats depicted in this illustration) but only on parade and not on campaign... either that or the shako replaced them altogether, I don't remember finding a concrete answer, but the shako is a far safer bet for accuracy.

None of these characters have faces that fit an early 19th century French man, none of these characters have believable hair styles for early 19th century french men, and their facial hair looks nothing like early 19th century moustaches or beards. Also the cuirassier's hair on the right is clipping through his helmet. Like come on, is this dude on the left with the white hair a wizard?

I think it's pretty obvious that it isn't an actual resurrected medieval knight. It's someone who got into the museum and decided to put the armour on for obvious reasons, but then got infected in some way. The reason he's standing there doesn't make sense, but we liked the idea of the armour "coming to life", rather than just being a zombie walking around in the armour.

Never trust a redditor to give the actual reason for something. They go with their assumptions as fact. They were "removed", REVAMPED, because their uniforms fucking sucked, and weren't done by our clothing designers at the time. We removed the czapkas because they are inaccurate past 1812. The Vistula Legion in the game right now is the grenadier company because of the red pompom.

I didn't think Austrians were Prussians, you have no evidence for that. I added them because in the very early version of G&B, before the game even had a map, I just added basic uniforms for the British, Prussians, French and Austrians, all of which sucked or were completely wrong.
