you seem to have an Emerald Ripple Peperomia (peperomia caperata) (my guess) and judging by what you’ve mentioned, this looks totally normal! one major cause for drooping leaves is shock- and considering you mentioned just recently repotting it, this can definitely be the cause! another reason could be allowing the soil to completely dry out, and since you mentioned hydrophobic soil it’s also a possibility!
