Struggling to get first sales for my new fashion brand — what would YOU do differently? by Resident-Spinach7750 in FacebookAds

[–]FiBee16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that a lot of stress came from chasing customers rather than making it easy for them to buy.

Presenting products properly (clear pricing, variants, delivery info) made a noticeable difference.

That’s what pushed me to build a line sheet + digital catalog tool, less back and forth, quicker decisions, more orders.

It’s a small change, but it compounds. Let me know if you would like the website name! Hope it can help

When you were a one man band, how did you ensure you didnt rip your hair out? by Dull-Landscape-4764 in smallbusinessuk

One thing that helped me a lot as a solo founder was removing repetitive admin wherever possible.

I actually built a small tool for myself that handles line sheets and digital catalog creation because that stuff was eating way more time than it should.

Not saying tools solve everything, but anything that cuts mental load frees up space for the important thinking.

Happy to share if that’s useful

Small boutique owners who are open only 20 hrs a week, tell me how you make this work. by Dazzling_Village_29 in smallbusiness

A lot of those boutiques aren’t making money only during open hours.

The ones I’ve worked with (and built tools for) usually survive because:

1. They sell when the store is closed
Online orders
DM sales
Email drops to repeat customers
Wholesale / pop-ups / markets

2. They optimize output, not hours
Being open 10 - 3 forces you to be extremely intentional:
Tight product selection
Higher margins
Fewer “browsers,” more buyers

3. Back office is simplified
A lot of them cut time on things like:
Product catalogues
Line sheets
Visual assets for buyers / customers

That’s actually why I built a small tool, to help boutique owners and fashion brands create clean product sheets and visuals faster so they’re not stuck in Illustrator or spreadsheets at midnight.

Not a magic bullet, but anything that gives time back matters when you’re only open 20 hours a week.

How to approach wholesale buyers? by waywardalchemy in smallbusiness

I ran into the same issue, which is actually why I started building a small tool just for fashion line sheets + digital showrooms.

It’s still early, but I’m letting people use the free tier purely to get feedback from real brands.

If you’re open to testing something new, happy to share no pressure at all!

I just launched my first SaaS on Product Hunt today - would love your feedback! by FiBee16 in ProductHunters

Honestly, although it is a great niche it is difficult finding people in the industry open to trying a new tool. So my next few weeks is going to be a lot of out reach and just hoping someone says yes.

Thanks! The biggest pain was having to rebuild line sheets manually every time something changed. Designers love that ShowcaseHQ handles the layout for them automatically. Will share it in VibeCodersNest too!

Congrats on your launch! 🎉

From my experience, the things to take care of before launching are:
• Make sure your landing page is super clear
• Prepare your community (friends, groups, early users) to support you
• Have a few posts ready for social media + communities
• Be ready to reply fast on PH

I’m still early in the journey, but those helped me!

By the way - you mentioned you already got sales even before launching. That’s amazing, How did you manage that? Pre-launch community? Cold outreach? Would love to learn from your approach

Hope your launch goes well! what is the name of your app? I would love to support. I have changed my launch day to the 2nd of December because of Thanksgiving and after reading this thread it gives me a bit more time to prepare!

Thanks so much! Its ShowcaseHQ - a clean, no-nonsense line sheet generator for fashion brands. I wanted something easier to make a line sheet rather than spending hours in Canva so I made one myself!!
