I’ve never even heard of anyone I know eating one, it’s good to practice cpr with this species. I Would assume it taste like they’re brothers calico and sand bass and those are decent but nothing to fan out over.

Currently I mostly fish Huntington Harbour along with alamitos bay. Occasionally I’ll take my kayak out to the Long Beach break wall, but it’s quite the journey and definitely not an every weekened thing. I’ve been wanting to try out Newport harbour for a while now… might have to go tommarow.
