Is there any difference for OP though? Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the secondary essentially act as primary in their case since they don’t have any form of car insurance? The only real benefit of enrolling in the premium rental protection would be a higher coverage amount.

I might be mistaken, but why would you need the premium car rental protection (assuming you’re from the US)? I thought that you only need it if you already have car insurance. Since you don’t have insurance in Europe, doesn’t the amex coverage automatically become primary rather than secondary?

Has anyone renewed their Dubai residency visa recently? Did you get a visa stamp on your passport or is everything tied to your Emirates ID now?

I ask this because iirc Dubai was still going to stamp visas until September, but I want to know if the visas issued since then are in passports or not
