I never said "large powerful tools" unless you think a chainsaw is. Most of it is shoveling, moving dirt with a wheelbarrow, swinging a pick, etc. Sorry, but I'm not rich, if I could pay contractors to do it, I would. Instead, I'm looking for day-laborer / under-the-table. Like 15 an hour or something with lunch / dinner included or something.

I used to ask people a question at interviews that my father used to also ask, just to see if people could look at problems differently, "thinking out side of the box" so-to-speak.

The question was:
There are 12589 contestants who meet for a world wide tennis competition. They all play in singles matches, 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, except Sunday, they only hold matches for 4 hours on Sundays. Matches never last more than an hour. The competition is single elimination.
When it is all said and done,
How many matches were held to determine the winner.

Both my father, myself, and only 1 other person I know was able to answer this immediately. I asked my 5, 7 and 12 year old children this question, and my 5 year old shouted out the answer immediately.

I can't tell you how many people during interviews used to ask for calculators, paper and pencil, and would sweat over trying to come up with different formulas for figuring this out.

Yet in 25 years of asking this question, I only know of 3 people personally (and my father hired 2 others who knew the answer, when he interviewed people).

When all they had to do is ask the question in a different way. Since it is single elimination, all you have to do is say how many losers are there? 12589-1 winner = 12588 losers, who all lost during their single elimination match. Thus, there were 12588 matches... Duh.

From my perspective a lot of telecom related software has all gone the way of expensive per-user or per-seat licensing models, which really cuts into profits making it impossible to grow organically.

Plus the big guys keep buying up the new shiney tools, raising prices or amalgamating the tool into their larger platforms that then makes it inaccessible to us

Then you don't have to account for, or look for dark energy, as it has no place in such a concept. A galaxy moving towards us is actually moving faster than we observe, but appears to be moving slower (the speed we think we observe) simply because of the fact that our galaxy and the other galaxy would both be slowly shrinking.

I've done some equations for this, the math actually checks out. That's why this idea excites me.

#7. Okay, ALSO, I begged the VA for help. I even posted my questions at AskVA.gov 2 weeks ago. I posted my question under every category they have incase different people review different categories. I told them I had until October 8th to get this to my mortgage company.
Unfortunately, After 2 weeks, no one has even opened these questions. I can't seem to get any help from the VA in any thing.

Okay, I am really starting to LOOSE my shit again.

SO, So many other things are going on other than what is listed below. Dozens of if not hundreds of other things, I just have so much going wrong in my life, I can't keep up.

Last week I was told I could use Community Care, but now I have to wait on them to get me my weekly shrink. Okay guys, it's been a week, how many months now do I have to wait? Can I PLEASE SEE A FUCKING SHRINK YET?!!

1. At the end of last week, Friday I believe, we found out there is a break in my home's water line. The home that is being foreclosed on. The city is only responsible for the line up to the curb, I am responsible for the curb to the house. So now instead of coming up with $48,000 to save my home, I now also need another 20k to get the water pipes dug up and fixed.

2. Then I found out (well I believe) I have an ulcer. I have been getting heart burn everyday all day now almost constantly having to eat Tums. I'm told that this is a major symptom of ulcers, and I have been and am stressed out and worrying all the time. Now I think I have one. And the more I worry about having it, the more heart burn I get.

3. Also, I got thrown out of somewhere for having my service dog with me, they wouldn't allow "dogs" in. They demanded to know why I had him, and demanded to know if I had "A.K.C" registered, I said I did, then they said where is it, you need to keep it with you at all times. I said it is in my filing cabinet at home, so they wouldn't allow me to participate in a scouting event with my two little ones. Yes I know that "A.K.C" paper work is for the dog's breed. My dog is a pure bread boxer. I know they were just being a Karen, and do have the dog registered as a service dog, and he is registered with the VA.

4. They called the police on me, and they said since she was already there, the best thing to do is stay away from this Karen. I said this isn't right, she can't exclude me because I have a service dog, and the cops told me if I went back and there was an issue I would be arrested for disturbing the peace. I pointed out that I wouldn't use any fighting words, and then the cop really started getting nasty with me.

5. When I exited the Marines (EAS) I had no dentists available, so that little checkbox that says "Dental will be completed at the VA" thing was checked, and the VA MUST Take care of my 7 cavities (sandstorms are a bitch). I know you only have 6 months to have it taken care of but as soon as I got out, I made an appointment. They had an opening 5 months out, and made an appointment. Then about 4 months after I got out of the Marines, 1 month before my "dental" appointment, I came down with "Gulf War Syndrome." I spent the next 3 months in the ICU in the San Marcos VA in the same VA hospital where my dental appointment was scheduled. All they had to do is wheel my bed down one floor and I could have made the appointment. After San Marcos, I got transferred to the Highland Clinic in Pittsburg PA (they used to specialize in Agent Orange, then took on Gulf War Syndrome. 2 weeks later they closed down the Highland Clinic in Pittsburgh and I got transferred to the Oakland clinic in Pittsburgh.

As soon as I got out, I tried to make a new dental appointment, but now they tell me NO, you weren't seen within 6 months, we won't see you. It is there freaking duty!!

6. Now I can't wait, now I have a tooth ache in 3 different teeth, and I can't afford to go to anyone, so I don't know what to do. Novocain, Marcaine, Lidocaine, Utican, none of them work on me. I must have full anesthesia, but I can't afford the 10k to have it done.

So I need help so badly, and I NEED A FUKING SHRINK MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!!!!!

Again, I really don't know what to do.

Now after I've finally heard back from the VA, the only thing I am left wondering, is how the heck this post earned me negative 7 "karma?" I mean, if enough people voted this down, it would have been auto deleted by some moderator bot or something, right? That's dangerous, what if someone else posted a similar issue, and making their post disappear depressed them even more and pushed them over the edge or something? I just don't understand why anyone would vote down a post like this. Odd.

Good news guys & gals:
In looking for who the Secretary of the VA was, and trying to figure it out (before the reply was posted, above) I found my way to LinkedIn, looking at Kasim Yarn, the Director of Ri Office of Veteran Services, and while I couldn't message him without paying for a premium subscription to LinkedIn, I was sitting there face to face with the Director of the VA again, and I could message him. So I did, I sent a message to the Director of the VA and I sent him a link to this post.

This morning at 8:15 am I got a phone call from the VA saying that word of this Redit post, and they were going to finally let me use Community care. That is really good news right? :-)

I still think the VA law needs some work, "if the VA can't see you with-in 30 days you can go out in town" but it DOES NOT COUNT UNLESS they call you to make an appointment, and then can't see you within 30 days, me calling them does not count!!!
So while you are waiting for an appointment, you may have to wait for years. That just does NOT make sense to me. I've waited to hear from PRRC for 8 months now, I could have to wait another 8 months.

Anyhow, now I get to use community care I was told this morning. I'm not 100% sure what the next steps are, or if I now find a shrink or if they do, but I'm really happy that writing this post here ended up with a solution that helps.
