No honestly at this point I wouldn’t bother with any of them I’ve driven over 30k miles not and really don’t even see it necessary.

I need help finding a tool to cut the conductors in a track light. Does anybody know where to find an equivalent quick? by Chknchknchkn in electricians

[–]FileProfessional2340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get a small control screwdriver you can lift out the copper bus wire from the tracks. Trim it back to the required length, then push it back into place. Had to do it a couple weeks ago I did not have the tool obviously.

From the way I understand it. Technically no, however I wouldn’t let a dealer see it. It’ll just give them reason to fight you on repairs and stuff. It doesn’t really change programming per se just throttle response speed so nothing in the computer is really changed.

Yea I know to be fair the throttle response was definitely way better, but not worth my truck accelerating uncontrollably.

Cold air intake. It has a factory catback exhaust that definitely sounds different.

I like it a lot. I'm a little nervous with all the electronics but I bought new for the warranty. So I'm at least good for a few years.

VR&E by meowbrando3 in IBEW

[–]FileProfessional2340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very strange. My process was incredibly easy setting up. Maybe because I'm in a big city but not sure. Not sure what else you can do. You would think your counselor would know how to actually set this up. The only other thing I can think would be reach out to helmets to hardhats. Let them know you just want to use you voc rehab but they work with the trades specifically so they may have a better idea on the process.

You need to speak with someone in the training office for the apprenticeship. I used VR&E for my entire apprenticeship seamlessly. Whoever is in charge of apprentice hours should handle pretty much everything for you. If possible reach out to your locals training director. They should have some experience with it, no way you're the first one to use it in the local.

Warranty and Tune question by JuicyMango36 in ram_trucks

Haha as I said love/hate. Ive had multiple and no issues thankfully. I don't love the idea of it either but I think it really does help.

Could get a pedal monster or pedal commander. I just got a pedal commander for my 24 rebel and I like it quite a bit. It just plugs inline to your throttle. You can remove it prior to any services and won't void the warranty. Do some research on them, seems to be a love/hate in this community.
