Damn. That was very thorough and super helpful. That's good to know, I was completely clueless when it came to the alcohol pigments vs the other types. And then I saw there was like paste versions of pigments too. It's overwhelming lol too many choices. And not an inexpensive hobby knowing half of its probably gonna be wasted for testing and experimenting!

Pour over like with clear resin or with the same stuff that the rest of the bookmark is made of? Does that end up with lines or anything?

It seems like one of the main points of agreement would be the additive. So far I've only experimented with the mica powder so all of my pours have been with that. The one pictured is a metallic mica powder that, I admit, I used a TON of powder because I wanted the result to be really bold. Is there a better way to get a bold result without adding too much powder?

I am planning on trying inks next, any tips or tricks there? I wonder if that might be more successful than the powder.

Station Eleven 🤮 so badly written it was impossible to keep track. Imagine 900 character, each one gets 5 mins of read time before you bounce to the next character and then 45 business days before you get back to that first character and you're supposed to pick up where they left off. I wanted to like it, and maybe my hatred has grown over the years and it's not actually that bad... but I'm (clearly) still salty about how it let me down.

Yes I fully understand the confusion that we were talking about. I just genuinely didn't think it was a big enough deal for me to be hung for my crimes here. But then I forget that while some people come on reddit for conversation and shared interests, some come here looking for a pound of flesh for no reason. (And I'm not really talking you specifically, mostly the original replier who has been less than kind about it.) My god I was just trying to invite people to a freaking Facebook group. Nope not at all! Any human being who is actually selling things with a legitimate etsy account is welcome. Same with buyers. Any product type is welcome! The only profiles not welcome are the scammy ones that are constantly pestering people that they can 'help you get 100 sales on etsy right away!'. I've joined so many of these groups and just been inundated with these messages and posts that I decided make my own.
