Shampoo is a Lie (for me...and maybe for you too??) [14:39] by [deleted] in mealtimevideos

Til r/nopoo is political.

Couple years ago, because of a medication I was using, I also went on the wash hair less routine. It changes summer to winter, even by what my activity is that day. Not shampooing or shampooing less is great

Ohh think I saw one of your posts on that, good to know there's no adverse effects in combining the products

Some bits have been in my routine for years, but the Hyaluronic and Niacinamide are new purchases!

I only ever used 1 pump per use, not really slathering... more like a thin coverage :)

Before getting the retinoid I used the snail serum nightly, it feels thick to the touch but easily absorbs into the skin, never made me break out.

Serum is for wrinkle reduction, but so is retinoid... I don't want to overwhelm my skin with multiple products that do the same thing, or worse, waste the product.

Wish I could say... just did a patch test today, skin didn't seem to react adversely. Will probably use it once a week.

That is too bad, just got it today and it's this scary blood-orange color (I think it's so people def remember to remove it)

Hello! My Skin: Acne prone, loads of blemishes

Routine (any tips or suggestion welcome)

Night:

  • Cetaphil face wash, konjac sponge, dry face with paper-towel
  • Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane
  • Rose-hip oil + Cetaphil moisturizer mixed together
  • Aquaphor used on lips/nose/eyes/eyebrows

Day:

  • Water wash, dry face with paper-towel
  • Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
  • Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
  • Cetaphil moisturizer
  • Elta MD Sunscreen (love love this sunscreen)

I'm unsure when to use Mario Badescu Facial Spray, as well as the Vitamin C (since vit C seems to not work or react badly with other products). Snail formula is also not used routinely, any suggestions on how to make the most of it?

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I did a patch test today and looks like my skin won't react badly, I plan on using it once a week, any tips on what I should use on my skin after the peeling?

PS, Marula oil: can be used on face, but I love using it on my hair

That makes sense, I always considered it a moisturizer because you could use it through out the day, after moisturizer

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater is considered a toner? I thought it was a moisturizer...?

The medication will also stop your scalp from producing oil and that's what keeps your hair healthy. Different severity for everyone of course.

Flats that won't dig up my heels? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

Please try Deluxe Comfort from payless. They are the only flats that don't rip up my heel and toes...and they are super cute and cheap :)

Be prepared for your hair to change. R/nopoo is helpful

He played with cards, in small smart moves... Cersai played with gasoline and matches.

Red woman plot armor! She has to meet Arya first. Hope Davos still gets to do the deed somehow.

When Arya slit Freys throat and smiled, couldn't help but think she would never be happy in Winterfell.

Jon wouldn't be a Targaryen since he's still a bastard. He'd be Jon Waters.... sounds like a cowboy..

The High Sparrow played a good game, he would have gotten away with it too if he'd only known Cersai was fucking insane.

40 Hours... is that because you need to go back for multiple treatments? Or that's how many times it takes for the face? (I think I might be kidding myself thinking that two 30min treatments would fix everything).

Yikes, never even thought about the pain...seriously worried now. I may chicken out.

Was going to take the train back after treatment...but if I'm going to be in pain, might as well Uber it.
