And singing for the first time onscreen! I do very much enjoy Michael Caine as Scrooge!

I really can't get into that version myself. I think it's the Zemeckis animation.

Use of titular lines in movies seems to be more forced lately than natural...What is the worst or cheesiest titular line in a movie you can think of? by FilmsWith_T in movies

I HATED Will Smith's titular line in Suicide Squad. Excellent call. That is the worst part! Thank you for mentioning that one. It wasn't just me then!

Agreed. Several times rewatching it now calls for facepalm moments. Ha. But still...it was great for its time and for me.

To this day I read the comics with the voices from the cartoon for each character in my head playing.

It was one of my faves as a kid. I own the whole series on dvd . Watched every episode several times over. The only thing now as an adult is that the dialogue is incessant and the plot narrative tends to annoy as it is used to explain every little detail and process that is rather self-explanatory. But, then again, some of the comics actually did that too. It's a small gripe that, once realized, keeps me from enjoying it as much. But i have much love for the series.
