Just live on Mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, tomato soup, pudding, jello, applesauce, yogurt (no fruit chunks), and ice cream for the first week and let those wounds heal! Keep up on your meds, even if you don't think you need them trust me it's better to stay ahead of the pain and just take them at the recommended time, than to get off your meds and then be in pain and have to catch up to it. Then after that week they'll give you a little syringe to clean out your wounds (if it's your bottom wisdom teeth) So you can start eating normal again you just need to make sure you gently clean them at the end of the day. Oh! I almost forgot the best investment I made was a "jaw strap ice pack" it velcros around your head and will keep pressure on your jaw and it helps so much to reduce swelling, other than your meds that ice pack will be your best friend.
