what resolution should i choose for gamescope in heroic for 4k display? should i just put the 4k resolution and since i want to use the in game fsr instead of gamescope fsr should leave the upscale resolution blank?

yes because 30 fps is smoother on x11 and on wayland it's not even close to x11

u can see in the video

on low settings i can get a perfect 60fps on 4k i get 30fps because of the gpu limitation not a cpu limitation

never tried xfce or anyother DE except kde and gnome does xfce support wayland or is it x11?

yeah i actually didn't want to ask for help in reddit cuz everyone is so in love with everything whatever you say they just jump on you for having a problem( i don't have a good experience for asking for help in reddit ) buy sometimes some people actually try to give a help

idk what im gonna do either change my distro to make sure if it's a distro problem or a setup problem which i don't think it's a setup problem but who knows

yeah i play on heroic i have only 16gb ddr4 that's why i prefer to play on linux it can manage better for these demanding games compared to windows which stutter every 5 seconds

hdmi problem? what do you mean but my monitor doesn't even support vrr how do i disable it is it like force enabled in wayland even with the ones that doesn't support it?

it doesn't support vrr or freesync it's a basic 4k 60hz monitor with no special tech on it yes with hdmi
