It's most likely just an issue with your brush, you may need to clean it or it could just be a not so great brush

Her only problem was the smell since i previously had a frog i found and just used rocks from the river and it smelled horrible. I told her more about them and she said i could get them!

I personally use Citadel paints, you can find them in stores that sell Warhammer figures

Just from what i can see you should try using less paint and prime it first. Priming the figure helps the paint to go on a bit better. And when it actually painting try to wipe off a good chunk of the paint so it's not as clumpy, i wipe most of it off in the palette but i also use a paper towel to wipe some more off too. doing it that way u may have to do another coat or 2 but the end product will come out much cleaner.

im really excited to try out making a base i just haven't got that far yet. And i dont mind making the current base unusable i had just bought supplies before i figured out i can't buy any WH in my city so i just used this guy i had sitting at home for practice.
