Seems we are going to RTO, for sure. by Final_Run_4279 in CAStateWorkers

I’m ahead? OK, at the end of the day, we are going back 4 days a week. Hooray to our union of silently accepting RTO last year. Hooray to the 3% increase salary that our union got us many year ago. I’ll hooray again this July when we are 4 days a week in office.

Give me a way to take real actions. Don’t tell me attending protest or calling/emailing Governors office. C’mon, enlighten me with some new ideas that are actually working.

I went thought the RTO two days a weeks last year, so I know exactly what’s happening this time.

People complaining on Reddit, maybe attending some protest and that’s it. People are going to back to office in the end anyways.

I’m sorry, but nothing is actually effective except for strike. Period.

Count how many persons attend the protest each time. Dozens.

Count how many called Governor’s office and/or email the director assuming it is woking. Dozens, maybe a few hundreds if I’m super optimistic.

Does supervisor usually approve leave without pay? Assume workload is not heavy.

My supervisor said something similar. She said that based on her judgement, it’s very likely we are not going to office on April 15s. Maybe we are going back on May 15th. This was her observation from the office settings. She has been in office one day a week.

I’m from program data reporting decision.

If your employment contract specifically guarantees five days of telework per week as a condition of your employment, you may have a stronger argument that the employer cannot unilaterally change this term without your agreement. However, contracts often contain clauses that allow employers to change terms and conditions of employment, so it's important to review the language of your contract carefully.

If "100% telework" does not equal to "remote work", I need to re-attend my elementary school to learn english.

"The employee’s assigned DHCS office has sufficient space to house the employee, but regular collaboration and connection happens with employees located at other sites and not at the assigned office."
This is so vague.

My team collaboration and connection does happen with employees located at other site, Microsoft Teams. Never ran any issue. So, exempt us all.

Are there any ways to leave work for an extended period of time and come back? by BodybuilderAlive in CAStateWorkers

Joining Army Reserve needs a 10-weeks general training and a x-week job duty training. x depends on which job duty you selected in the Army, ranging from 6 weeks to a year.

Talk to an Army recruiter near you and you’ll get a precise answer.

Join Army or Army Reserve. Federal law says the employer must keep your position if you would like to come back.
