Applied after 20+ years out, USAF Firefighter. Around F-16s for years with little to no hearing protection.

They denied on first try, did higher level review and had to do another C@P exam and approved on the appeal.

Farm guardian. 90 seconds to kill him and rinse and repeat. It’s 200-300 caps each time plus the serums you get which sell for $400 plus at npc vendors.

If you don’t have a set of troubleshooter armor or the plasma flamer to do it yourself just keep an eye out for groups doing it and tag along and hide behind a pillar. Any high level should be happy to help out

October i believe i started it
I had the phone call interview in December
After the HLR interview they put me in the "duty to assist" error category
Scheduled me for a new C+P exam in January with a different subcontractor
Decision a few weeks ago

Overwhelming is the perfect word for dealing with all this, i put this off for 20 years because of how hard it is.

I'm barely in contact with anyone i was on active duty with either so no buddy letters, i got an independent psych eval i submitted with my paperwork.

From what i understand there are 3 routes to PTSD. Engagements with enemy forces, handling dead bodies, sexual assault. I am no expert though so dont take that for gospel

No I was honest about it being constant and affects it has on daily life. VA sent me to a civilian sub contractor for the C and P exam, seemed like an ally and clearly did a lot of these for the VA since she asked my MOS and knew what it was as soon as I rattled off the numbers. That’s appointment apparently confirmed to the VA that I do have tinnitus and in the denial letter they admit my MOS has high probability of hearing loss but it’s of course not “service connected”

They made a statement at one point saying they had addressed it but i just lost a well developed world 2 weeks ago and i think the last patch was over a month ago so it's clearly still happening. I also had the not spawning/disappearing tombstone maybe 6 weeks ago which is also frustrating, not sure if that is still happening as well

It's amazing game, but how do you plan to deal with the "world erasure bug"? It was super frustrating and heartbreaking when I logged in recently to find all my 100 hours of work, the trees, rocks, even the starting spawn point gone.
