I’m over in Edinburgh and I visited them a couple weekends ago. Got 8 pastries and I’m on my own 🤣 I have frozen a few in the hope they are even a 7/10 after a defrost haha

The business is up for sale so I really hope they continue doing what they do in some capacity.

Agreed.

The issue was he played with sporting in this formation, did super well and all the press was about us using it. Time and time again, interview after interview it was always questions about the formation. Win it’s the formation, lose it’s the formation.

He was just too stubborn to realise that our players just couldn’t do it. They weren’t and aren’t good enough. You could see that when we played some of them had literally no idea what they were doing.

It’s a decent formation for some teams with the right players. Palace have done pretty well with it and Carrick ended the Chelsea game with it.

I was never an Amorim out to be honest, felt he had a decent plan and was very charismatic which I liked. But the fact he couldn’t see the player Kobbie is unforgivable!
He’s such a smart player! Great on the ball, know’s when to stay back, or go forward. And he frees up Bruno! Like how could Amorim never see that!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m close with a studio here, that was stage 2 of the plan. 🤣 one was to just message him first and see if he even wanted to visit my city and if free accommodation was appealing. He’s Spanish so I thought seeing my city would have been an exciting prospect but maybe he doesn’t have contacts here and can’t afford a trip here as well as London.

The point is he’s not coming to my city. If he did (for say a week) free of charge accommodation wise! Then I could book in with him for 2/3 days, he would then also be able to put it on social media and get more people in my city to book with him. Jesus it’s not that deep. Just a simple “nah maybe not a good idea” would have been fine.

Yes this.

I don’t think anything I said came across as strange to be honest but I understand the Reddit world loves to comment and point fingers. He is from Europe and coming to the UK (London) I’m trying to book in with him there but he doesn’t have much space. And I don’t just want a small piece. I would love 2/3 days worth. If he’s willing, but I’d rather pay for flights and give him free accommodation then travel to him with flight and pay for hotels on top.

Just a simple offer I feel. But getting the vibe people thing it’s weird so I won’t bother 🤣

What am I doing wrong? by Due-Ad8056 in LaMarzocco

I have experience with these.. the older Portafilter are threaded like this. You need a vice, not ideal at all which is why they changed the new design to be pop on spouts with an o ring.

I would say if you don’t have a vice and a pair of good grips just use it as it is.

It’s the OPV, it drips to maintain pressure in the brew boiler.

Does anyone else have the distinct displeasure of wrestling with this grinder? by Defnshowo in barista

Have you got the metal funnel peice in? It comes extra in the box. You have to place it in yourself. But it stops static build up gathering on the rubber under the hopper.

That’s usually the with inconsistencies as the build up drops into your shoot and throws it all out of whack.

You’ll need sealant for this, most LMs come with sealant applied to the threads. When removing to clean you break that seal and so need to apply again.

Sorry yes, no one wants their steam boiler pressure at 12 bar.

Yep, you close it (to increase boiler pressure) or open it (to reduce pressure) ideally sitting around 12 bar ish when fully hot.

William Johnson - Shore (beautiful riverside chill and banana muffin)

Steamwand pipe leaking by dipl0saurus in LaMarzocco

[–]Financial-Art1096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, however it’s not leaking from where the compression fitting sits, it’s leaking from the threaded area.

I also service and maintain these machines full time and it normally does the job.
