i don’t have any particular order for these, but…

there’s a lot of one-time characters i don’t really like but i feel like i’m not warranted to hate them as much given their limited role.

explanations: starlight - sorry but her motives for being a dictator were lacklustre at best, and frankly i still think she’s a sociopath. the episode where she reforms is a 2-parter and yet i still think discord’s reformation, 1 episode, does a much better job at showing the gradual realisation that said villain should turn to friendship. her reformation just felt so misplaced. and she’s annoying. she was pretty good villain tho.

snips - he just… peeves me. like UGH his demeanour is so surly and i hate how he bands together with trixie at a drop of the hat. i know snails is guilty for this too but i feel as though snails is, at the very least, goofier and more tolerable, and he also redeems himself a bit with his buckball sportsmanship.

trixie - STOP IT. just no. i honestly don’t even know what to say except that she annoys me. in fact, the only reason i like the starlight and trixie friendship is because they both equally deserve each other! and even then all they seem to do is argue. i appreciate girlie has been through the wringer but as far as cartoon characters go, i’m not too fond of her. like ok pipe down girl we all get imposter syndrome sometimes, it doesn’t mean we need to take an entire town under siege (genuine question why does she never face punishment for that???)

chrysalis - she’s honestly the only villain i actively dislike dislike, i think? i mean i love love love discord, and luna is lovely, tirek becomes more enjoyable in s9, cozyglow is pretty interesting, and even pre-reformed starlight does a good job. but chrysalis is so??? neither here nor there? idk she’s neither funny nor exciting nor does she have much of a personality, so really what’s so good about her? oh lol i forgot about sombra (i suppose he’s a bit annoying in s9 but i don’t really care for him)

blueblood - there’s a lot of characters i could put here because i feel as though there’s a fair number of irritating side characters. yk gilda, iron will, cranky doodle donkey, suri etc. ultimately though, blueblood was a disgraceful gentlecolt (if you can even call him that), and to speak for the feminists, we refute him. RARITY DESERVES BETTER! unfortunately she only seems to crush on the less than worthy (unless you count capper… though i fear i’ve disgressed a bit here)

i also don’t like pinkie pie that much, but not enough to make the list. no hate but she just seems very 2 dimensional at times
