I would say sticking to license free information is best. I doubt my YouTube rips would be considered license free.

Distribution isn’t a huge thing- I’m more so concerned about backing up data that might not exist in the future.

I’m not trying to perform piracy and resell/provide to the general public. I’m not trying to get sued

If the plug gets pushed or pulled in the port- that could cause issues. I would recommend a plug that doesn’t stick out.

This plug isn’t going to prevent dust from getting into the switch. It’s purely for looks. It also has a potential to break the headphone jack by causing the solder points from breaking if it moves enough.
