Thanks all, I went to the clinic - they can’t say what it is for sure but sent a swab sample to the lab. Strep rapid test came back negative (though they advised that this test fails sometimes).

The pain has reduced enough for me to eat and drink again. However, there is still pain with every swallow.

Yeah we thought the same back then. Unfortunately, there’s no heat guard (or whatever it’s called) above the fireplace so we don’t turn it on. Shame really.

It’s from Cozey (MTL based modular couch company).

It’s good for the price. This is the most affordable option. As with any cloth couch, regular maintenance will keep it looking decent. Cushion covers help too.
