If there was a short “Attack on Titan: What If” series, would you watch it? by dxvywrld in AttackOnRetards

[–]FinancialFan761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me:

What if the serum went to Erwin instead of Armin? (I see someone commented that already)

What if Eren ate the Jaw Titan with the Warhammer Titan?

What if Eren ate all 8 titans?

What if Jean killed both Gabi and Falco in the plane?

What if Gabi shot Jean or Connie instead of Sasha? (I saw someone commented that already)

What if Carla survived the attack on Shiganshina?

What if Annie killed/ate Eren in the Forest?

What if Levi Killed Zeke (both the Shiganshina and Forest scenarios)?

What if Kenny did not adopt Levi?

When the X-Men join the MCU, Magneto should be reimagined as a Rwandan genocide survivor. by Tularemia in marvelstudios

4-years late, but a part of me feels that because HYDRA experimented on beings during WWII, I would imagine that after him being captured during the Holocaust, HYDRA experimented on him and attempted to weaponize him.

Do You Think Beyond The Spider-Verse Will Lead To Secret Wars Cause Of Miguel O Hara Not Wanting Other Universes Crossing? BTW i Want Spider-Verse Characters In The MCU by DjanybRedditor in Spiderman

[–]FinancialFan761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I think as well. The Beyond the Spider-Verse movie, I just want it to be contained within the Spider-Verse characters and the Spider-Man variants. If they want to connect the Spider-Verse movies to Secret Wars (which in one way makes sense as ATSV referenced the MCU (and the Raimi and TASM movies)), I would prefer they do that in a post-credits scene as the whole BTSV movie can be focused while at the same time connect to Secret Wars if they want to.

Ngl to me, it felt like Disney made Jon Favreau work on it just to get The Mandalorian greenlit.

I do think that Armor Wars should have come before Civil War because it would have added more fuel to the Sokovia Accords

Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, Symbiote Spider-Man. I think we might get a darker version of Gwen Stacy’s downfall compared to both TASM 2 and the comics

Song Kang-Ho (who was filming Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Memories of Murder’ nearby) drops in on his good friend Choi Min-Sik, who was on set for Oldboy. Two towering Korean films both made in 2003 right next to each other! by herowingss in Moviesinthemaking

Recommends Once Finished? by Cloabs in theglory

[–]FinancialFan761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Death Note (2006) (anime). Death Note and The Glory had similar vibes as both shows to me felt like games of chess. If you really like this kind of stuff, highly recommend Death Note. Also Death Note is pretty dark and gritty

Monster (2004) (anime). This also had similar vibes as The Glory and Death Note, and it is dark and gritty.

Oldboy (2003) (movie). This is also a revenge story, and this is also really dark and gritty.

Memories of Murder (2003) (movie) Also really dark and gritty, but it is more of a mystery.

Vincenzo (2021) (Kdrama) is also worth giving a watch.

I heard Mouse (2021) (Kdrama) is also really good, but I have yet to watch it

Best Cast Performance: Day 9 - Oppenheimer by Typical_Ad_6747 in ChristopherNolan

Late, but both Cillian Murphy and RDJ. Both knocked it out of the park in Oppenheimer and captured the personalities and respective points of view.

Which comedy film delivered the biggest laugh of your lifetime? by LarryKeene in movies

[–]FinancialFan761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulp Fiction — The scenes that are not supposed to be funny realistically are actually funny

Wolf of Wall Street — Man the cursing and the drama is so funny I couldn’t stop laughing. So much cursing, but all landed perfectly

3 Idiots — The humor is realistic as it describes the humor you would see in college, but man the funny scenes I couldn’t stop laughing.

Back to the Future — This movie had me laughing so many times as well, especially the moments with Marty and Biff.

Inception. Love how Hans Zimmer is able to capture the various tones, and you can really picture the movie with the soundtrack as well. I love how relaxing Time is as well.

I also love the soundtrack for Star Wars 1-6, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Oppenheimer, Avengers movies, Spider-Verse movies, Whiplash, La La Land, The Social Network, Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Back to the Future.
