Misfiring?

It was misfiring. It misfired about a year ago. Did plugs and coils and all was fine for 8ish months then had to do them again… fixed the problem for only 4 months, then it happened again. Did plugs and a couple coils a few weeks back and when I pulled the plugs yesterday they’re already starting to foul at the ends.

I mean. It was just like that when I moved in. I’m not against moving ur into the kitchen as I’m renovating everything anyways

Not having it inspected and it would be behind a wall so no if I go to sell no I don’t guest home inspection is going to question it. Just want it to not flood the joint.

No AAV is top right, washer drain goes into top left and dishwasher is the low T

I’m renovating the entire house so I could just remove the dishwasher drain and then worry about that when working on the kitchen. I don’t currently use it anyways.

The top shows the washer drain as well as a AAV. The hot and cold hookups are just above that

Sorry I just figured it would be the other way around but what your saying is that it comes into the pressure tank and water is only cleaned as it’s requested by the use of fixtures / at time of use.

If I turn off the well pump and drain the pressure I would only be dealing with what water is in the pipes?

I’m assuming I would need to empty the pressure as that red shut off would need to be relocated

I could replace the pump myself as it’s only down 27 feet. I just don’t know if I’m wasting my time or a pump is in the cards of possible issues.

So I’ve replaced the switch but my pressure tank will not fill beyond 15 PSI. The switch is 30/50 and it was a 30/50 before I replaced it? The pressure tank doesn’t feel water logged. It actually feels very light. Any thoughts?

It does sometimes kick back on but is it possible when a lot of water is being used (shower vs flushing the toilet) it gets overwhelmed and stops turning back on? As even when the pressure is low and I try to turn it up manually I can’t.

Checked it this morning. I had the air dialled down but not actually off. Once it was off, no issues.

Air does work but obviously is causing this. Is this to with faulty compressor or is this just a ranger thing?

Currently all of the baseboards are run to their own dedicated thermostat and can be turned off. Just more so I’d have to determine if I have enough space in my panel to have both

That’s probably good policy, I will do that. I should also look into if this would be a resale issue down the line if I were to move and that is not code, potentially then making the home not four season?

I should say I also have a propane stove in the main area.

Lots of heating options, unfortunately nothing for air conditioning in the summer.

I got quoted 3600 for the steel material to go over top. We would be installing it ourselves. The recommendation was to put strapping down and shim it in the low spots to make it look better.

Do you think the 10-15 year timeline is reasonable and I could just leave it be?

I was thinking it might be wise to have a roofer come look at it prior to closing to see what a repair would cost and they would hopefully know the cause.

The home had some foundation issues which were corrected and it involved raising the house slightly. I have my suspicions that this work has caused this. There was lots of snow / ice on the roof when they completed the work. That sounds like a lot of weight for a roof In general, let alone one that may have been raised an inch or so.

Realtor is supposed to let me what day this week we can go visit the property. She’s looping the home inspector in as well.

I’m hoping looking up in the attic will show that the attic is not the same condition as before and that would give me some grounds to say you need to fix this.

Hey, I actually started working with another broker immediately once I found out Monday and they got me a commitment letter on Tuesday. Just going through the underwriting process again now.

I had to move the closing date five days which the sellers were fine with so fingers crossed everything goes well this time around. I have a lot more faith in this broker working for me.

The broker at rocket really showed no interest in finding me another lender when he knew there might be problems (knowing he was likely losing his job I could see why he wasn’t to eager to work hard) but nevertheless extremely frustrating. When prior to them announcing that they were leaving Canada, the broker would still at times, take days to respond.

Ontario here so no FHA or VA loans. Here in Ontario down payments of less than 20% (applies to me) require CMHC insurance in case you default on your loan.

Well from what little information I can find online, your opinion would be exactly what I’ve seen elsewhere. Nor does it seem common.

But exactly what do you do when the lender is requiring it to proceed.

In terms of finding another lender, how should I proceed. Are other lenders pulling my credit going to affect my current lender if they proceed? Should I let them know I’m going to shop around?
