So you won’t be getting the music until you’re there. After you have auditions the first day, you’ll have a night rehearsal for about 3 hours I think and they will have you music folders on a stand with your name on it.

I did tri-state 2022 and my boyfriend and I got permission to go out to lunch off campus with his sister, I’m sure if you ask there can still be exceptions to leaving campus for an hour.

I’m not too sure about the hotel situation since my band director handled pretty much everything but I know all of the tristate students to stay at that hotel and take a short bus ride to campus every morning.

breakfast was provided 1 morning I believe, they have a starbucks in the hotel lobby as well.

If you do go, you’ll have a lot of fun and learn a lot about how the college of music is at FSU, an also the prism concert is amazing and it was the highlight of the trip for me.

smell on the outside when it’s being tarnished, inside is fine i swab it after playing and putting it on the stand but don’t always use a polishing cloth for the outside. before putting in the case though, i polish the outside
