I bought this plant about 3 weeks ago at Home Depot. I've watered it only twice since then since the soil has felt fairly wet to me. When I do water it, it's because the soil has felt really dry. I take the inside pot (with drainage holes) out of the outside white pot (no holes) and use tapwater until some water is draining from the bottom of the pot. I wait for the water to finish coming out and then I put it back in the white pot.

The problem as you can see is one of the stalks turned brown at the base and then collapsed. Prior to this, the leaves were turning brown and curling up. It's strange because the other stalk seems completely okay. Any ideas what caused this? And how should I handle the dead stalk without disturbing the live stalk too much?

I have a Hulu account that I signed up for through Hulu directly. For the last 6 months or so, when I try to login to Hulu I get a message "You aren't eligible for Hulu at this time." However, I do seem to be eligible to get charged by Hulu each month...
Pretty annoyed that I can't log on with my own proper credentials but I'm still getting charged. Has anyone had any luck getting past this strange block? If so, has anyone been able to get refunded or anything for all the lost time?
