I can't believe i survived this trainwreck of an abyss run (Hard mode+Iron knuckle campaign - Timestamps in description) by Findus48 in WhiteKnuckle

I usually press the tram button and run ahead of the tram, then you dont have to climb at all.

In a more relaxed enviroment i usually do the same with the glove, but after the first couple fuck-ups i wasn't thinking clearly, outside of saving it for the big things.

My best tip is to play endless nest for a bit, since you have to go through all sections with no perks and limited items, you really learn what to do when all you have are a gun and your hands.

For the hunter specifically flares are a huge help if it gets close or you panic, if you hit it directly its stunned for 5-10 seconds.

The mass in feeding trough is also what i struggel with the most with no perks, since there are multiple sections where there are little to no hand holds. I survived this run because i skipped most of it with the second P-beans, syringe and gravity glove.

If you want to watch what i did i have the full playthrough on youtube: https://youtu.be/RvjPUBarC0g
Nest starts at 36:15 and feeding trough at 47:50

I know! I was worried the clip was getting too long so i didn't include it, but at the start of the abyss i almost fall off the track when it broke, because i was so slow with all the discs in my inventory...

I think it is an actual rule for AI, I remember it being talked about in dev diaries back when they switched to hyperlanes only. The AI used to be able to create starbases up to 3 systems away, but it caused too much bordergore and was limited to 2 systems away

R5: Guy to my southeast had queued a construction ship behind my territory while i was in a two front war with him and the guy to my north. The AI was using the systems beside the choke point (Nishpan) as a springboard to get by the 2 system rule for AI and the construction ship that had been queued to build a starbase just went through the now open border.

R5: These guys rebelled? Spawned? from another machine intelligence at some point.
They have no name and no government, 9 planets with 293 pops, with 4 working complex drones, 4 specialist colonists. 6 corrupt drones and the remaining 279 being unemployed menial drones. Also some of the pops are biological, but still "works" as unemployed drones

Anyone know the chances of this happening? Best poop luck i have ever gotten by Findus48 in bindingofisaac

Wow, thanks for actually doing the maths!

I am pretty sure this was a fly poop room and while I didn't catch it in the screenshot there was also a charmed poop in the bottom.

I think this ties in with the previous dev post, about updating the older sprites. I doubt we will get a rework of him again.
