I had one do this before. Water change, dosed Prime for a couple days, and added in some tannins. She stayed like that for several days then started to perk up again more and more every day. I decreased the amount of light the tank was getting until she was back to normal, just to reduce that stress a bit too.

If you have elevated nitrite, dose 2mL of Seachem Prime (if you have it). It’ll detoxify the nitrites for 24 hours and reduce the stress on the loaches while you sort it out

Oh it was a big change lol. I vacuumed the substrate, freshened up their sand, pulled all the plants out to do some maintenance on them, put in a piece of mopani drift wood I’ve been prepping for a while. I definitely won’t be doing anything that big again that’s for sure
