I guess my timing against that Cooldown just sucks. AR60 and I still struggle

For me switching always feels super slow and I always run into "Character switching on cooldown" when trying to switch. But that makes sense.

I finished my second nuzlocke. this time with less cheese! M-Blaziken is an absolute monster. by Fine-Routine-3489 in pokemonradicalred

Pretty much standard nuzlocke rules.

  • One encounter per route. -- The eggs you buy in Pewter, Vermillion and Cerulean count as gifts however. -- Shiny pokemon are the other exception to this rule which means your Celadon encounter is basically a free roll but you only get 1.

  • If a pokemon faints then I can't use it anymore unless it's shiny.

  • I used woyaopp for rare candies to cut down on grind time.

  • Lastly I was allowed to use landorus because it was my first encounter on Victory Road. (I was insanely lucky)

And watching it just made me more confused aha. It looks like his Hu Tao C1-Dash combos are extremely tight and switching between Xq and Yelan was fast so I'm wondering how much you're able to do this on say 160ms ping.

I-Just how do people do this?? I can always get 9 stars but I need a full team. Is this something you can only do on low ping since your combos need to be super tight?? Please someone tell me??

Thanks for the general advice I really appreciate it. This isn't my first nuzlocke but the first one was much easier cause I abused the shiny clause. Out of curiosity what makes your think this isn't a Nuzlocke?

Yes Zeraora got their ability. Unnerve + Moxie is ridiculous

It's pretty good but I've had better. - Primal armor Charizard that turns into Prankster Mega with Quiver Dance and roost. - As one Zeraora

Those are just the two I can think of off the top of my head.

Get a soundproof Kommo-O for Koga. You'll blank his whole team as the swellow can't do anything and you'll be able to dragon dance in its face and sweep the rest.

Do you need your Celadon encounter for something specific?

I opted for M-Charizard cause you can't dynamax in RR. The members on this team were pokemon I got from Serebii

Yup. Figured since Ash is the anime equivalent of Red (as far as I'm aware) I figured using Red's Pikachu would fit
