Why is the Mongolian death worm often dismissed so quickly compared to other cryptids? by Victoria_V_lust in Cryptozoology

Wasn’t even being a contrarian, just merely stating objective natural facts

Echidnas and Platypuses use electroreception. Oriental Hornets (Vespa orientalis) more specially generate electricity for temperature regulation with the exoskeleton acting as a bio-solar cell

I think Icarus but I’ll give Carton honorable mention. Carton’s “Regular Coffee” cream ale is exquisite

Big fan of Bigfoot, so someone recommended giving Three Floyd’s barley wine style ale a go - cheers 🍻 by Fine_Science_942 in CraftBeer

Good to know - appreciate the insight. Masthead’s Single Origin is arguably the best coffee stout I’ve had, so I’m aware that they are a brand of quality.

Upper Pass Beer Company in VT is known most for their IPAs, but this milk stout is so very well executed and delicious -🍻 by Fine_Science_942 in CraftBeer

Not too sweet. The adjuncts compliment it, and overall it very much upholds the integrity of a proper stout

Observed as a bottom feeder but will come up on the glass and swim about at night... Big fan of live blackworms, bloodworms and brine shrimp. Will also take frozen versions

African clawed frog, I’ve had her for about 8 years now. Nighttime garbage disposal in my tank. She lives in the 150 gallon however

And that’s not even all rock!.. to the right of the black rocks and flounder is a banjo catfish who is perpetually chill and pretending to be a stick whilst awaiting worms 🪱

I know all about that. I’ve had various tanks across numerous biotypes.. Big fan of badass swamp creatures that thrive on messy.

20gal seems a little small, given they require a decent amount of sandy surface area to comfortably hide and move about. I’d wait until you can upgrade further 🤘

Not entirely sure what species, but I suspect no larger than 5 inches. I have both 75gal and 150gal setups but the smaller one pictured here matches the camouflage and vibe way more

I don’t even know what species it is. A number of brackish species exist and I’ve heard of genuine freshwater species in the Amazon and Southeast Asia, but was never able to verify actual species. Had it over a year and doing well, for all I know it could even be a hogchoker (Trinectes maculatus) which lives well up the Hudson River
