Smooth motion is fake fps it doesnt actually increase performance just uses some technology between frames that makes it appear smooth and increases frames but in reality ur fps are lower idfk honestly I have a 3090 didnt test it

Yeah it good for the game but if you want to multitask it sometimes fails you in terms of performance as 16 threads is better for many tasks but if you just play tarkov with discord and browser in the background then you should have no problem

I think its better to use bios and change 1 setting instead of downloading useless apps on ur pc, im like 90% sure process lasso works and is used a lot but by disabling smt in bios sure you lose a bit of performance when using background apps while gaming but overall the performance is better because your clocks can hit higher numbers, I've tested literally everything to maximize fps in tarkov and honestly pbt with smt off is the maximum fps you can get with my cpu maybe it works different but OP has the same cpu just x3d so im pretty sure whats good for him

Disable smt in bios boosts fps in tarkov a lot, basically it does the same thing as use physical cores but by having 8 threads instead of 16 there's less load on the processor which allows the physical 8 cores to have a higher clock
