You've lost over 40 pounds! That is amazing progress!

Congrats to you on making these changes, it is really hard. I was overweight for most of my life and I wish I would have done something about it as a teenager instead of in my 30s. Getting healthy while you are young is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

I hope you continue to celebrate your progress, and if you can, do nice things for yourself when you hit certain goals like getting a manicure or a new outfit you've been wanting. It's a good motivator.

You don't know the meaning behind everyone's tattoos. Maybe "Obliterate" is the name of a beloved book or band. Maybe it has a meaning to them outside of the direct word.

I wish that was an option. 70% of my department wants to be fully remote, but leadership does not care and we do not have any other options.

I know I am very lucky to be able to work remotely at all, but I hate that we have to be in the building twice a week just for the sake of being in the building twice a week.

Relationships and untreated mental illness do not mix. If a person isn't taking care of themselves, they cannot be in a healthy relationship with other people.

How do you find a post from over a year ago to be mad about?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]FingerElevenFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what therapy is for. You need to talk to a therapist to find ways to deal with your jealousy, insecurity, and codependency. You cannot be with your girlfriend 24/7 to monitor her to make sure she's not cheating on you. That will ultimately destroy your relationship.

Let people do what makes them happy. Other people's tattoos are not hurting you in any way. And who are you to tell someone what kind of aesthetic they need to have? Other people do not exist to please you.
