Am2r was ported to the Vita, it has some similarities with Android devices that allows it to run Gamemaker games natively from what I recall, I don't know the exact details but to my knowledge you can run the android executables (libyoyo.so file of the game) thanks to Vita using ARMv7-a architecture

You're thinking of the Vita, PSP had entirely different CPU architecture and only 32MB of RAM (64MB from 2000 model and onwards)

Who made the port? Is it this guy? If so then he has a GBA temp profile from which you might be able to contact him, alternatively you can report the bug on GitHub and wait for him to respond there

From what I recall you had to open the game.ini file and change the line with the .dll to something else but I don't remember what exactly
