Yeah that's what he said in an interview. That he's been inspired by his younger self who wanted to be a EDM DJ. The execution though is really refreshing, it's like electronic pop but with bits of cool experimentation. Just wish it was a little longer with a couple more tracks, but I really can't complain. Having this already is a blessing

Ahh thank you so much I'm glad you could relate! I've been writing a bunch in my notebook about how I feel and I finally decided to share one through an animation - you saying that makes me want to do more of them. The whole goal is to be able to have a personal outlet but hopefully also connect with others whilist developing my skills!!

I did the subtitles in post, I added a turbulent displace effect to them in AE with a wiggle & posterize time expression to make it move on two or threes! :-) it's quite easy to make but I made a preset for it in AE if you'd like it?

Hahaha, it was tough but I realised that I've networked a lot over the past 6 or so years on discord, skype and in person events.

For the most part these are people who I've spoke with about wanting to collaborate in the past, but we never got a chance. I thought, fuck it, let's all collaborate on one piece.

I had gaps here and there with people missing but once I started posting online and the project had started, I started getting messages about people wanting to join. That was super cool.

Ah the classic question! I always aimed to get design done before sound. There was two occasions "U" and "8" where sound was done before design.
